Rules: Flying : Creatures without Flying cannot block Flying creatures. First Strike : Creatures with First Strike deal damage first in combat. Haste : Creatures with Haste may attack and use abilities that have the TAP symbol on the turn it comes into play. Trample : Creatures with Trample may deal damage that is in excess of the combined toughnesses of the defending creatures blocking it to the defending player. This occurs even if damage to the defending creatures is prevented by color protection, a damage shield or a similar effect. Tokens are colorless and have a converted mana cost of 0 unless specified. If a token leaves play, as soon as it reaches the out-of-play area, it ceases to exist. It will, however, trigger events caused by it leaving play or entering the new area. Enchant World : Enchant World cards affect all players equally, signifying a change of environment. When a new Enchant World enters play, any Enchant World already in play is destroyed. This is a state-based effect, and it automatically occurs as soon as the new one successfully enters play. Swami : Cards with the subtype Swami represent unique things. There cannot be more than one permanent in play with the subtype of Swami AND the same name. Multiple permanents with the subtype of Swami are okay as long as they do not have the same name. If a new Swami permanent would come into play with the same name as a Swami permanent already in play, the newest one will be destroyed as a state based effect. Simplify : Simplify is an alternative casting cost for a spell. It is written as 'Simplify (cost).' Spells with Simplify often will have a slightly different effect when cast using Simplify. Casting a spell using Simplify does not change the color or converted mana cost of the spell. For instance, using Simplify 4 to put Warrioress Sessa into play doesn't change the fact she is a black and red permanent or the fact that her coverted mana cost is 3. The converted mana cost of Batch of Cookies is 2 whether it is cast using Simplify or not. Entwine : Entwine is an optional cost. Entwine spells begin with "Choose one:" and two functions separated by an OR. If the Entwine cost is paid, treat the OR as an AND instead. It is written as 'Entwine (cost). (Choose both if you pay the Entwine cost)' When an Entwine cost is paid for a spell being played, do the first part of the spell, then the second.
