Where most divine spellcaster classes prepare spells for the day, a Holy Protector prepares spells as needed. This takes ((25 - wis bonus) * spell level - caster level) minutes of prayer and/or meditation, minimum 2. This is in addition to any time otherwise taken to cast the spell. Orisons count as 1/2 level for this calculation. | Where most divine spell caster classes prepare spells for the day, a Holy Protector prepares spells as needed. Spirit Vision: A Holy Protector is atuned to forces of the spirit and may sense the presence, alignment(good vs. evil), and general condition of living (or undead) beings withing 5ft/level of Holy Protector. While this allows a holy protector to sense beings which are otherwise hidden or invisable, they should be considered half concealed for purposes of combat. | Spirit Vision: A Holy Protector is attuned to forces of the spirit and may sense the presence, alignment(good vs. evil), and general condition of living (or undead) beings withing 5ft/level of Holy Protector.
