Russell is the head Administrator of the RussellMUCK server.

In practice, Calin and Akili both handle administrative tasks as Wizards, but in the MUCK administrative hierarchy, there is a unique player, known as #1 (or One), that has ultimate control over the server environment.  Only that character can promote or demote Wizards.

Since the server is named RussellMUCK, it follows that Russell should be #1.  Russell himself seems to be satisfied with this, and no one else has stepped forward with complaints.

Russell is controlled by Akili, although there is occasionally dispute about who controls whom.
